A guardian home is a local family who is a forever home for one of the dogs in our breeding program.  Guardian homes allow our breeding dogs to live with families and not in kennels as our program grows.  Only so many dogs can fit on our laps!  We are always looking for great guardian homes, so if you are interested, please contact us!

Guardian families are responsible for normal dog care including, but not limited to, training, socialization, vet expenses (non-breeding related), food, grooming, and lots of love and affection. Blueberry Cottage pays for all breeding related expenses.  As an added benefit for the guardian family, depending on our schedule, we may provide care for your dog while you are on vacation.

We will ask you to visit our home periodically to ensure the dog is comfortable when he/she comes for breeding and whelping.  You will be responsible for sending pictures and updates monthly for our website.

Rocky, now known as Catcher is fun and spunky!  He loves to play and also loves to climb up in your lap.  He does great with kids who are 8 years and older. He will be excellent for a family who is active and loves the outdoors.  He will be about 25 lbs and would loves some new adventures!  Medium energy.

Ophelia, now known as Salsa, is very fun and playful.  She is happy, very friendly, and outgoing! Salsa will be about 40 lbs as an adult. She has been doing great with potty and crate training!

FOUND A HOME!

This stunning girl will be a standard about 60 lbs fully grown!  Twinkie is sweet, walks well on leash, is crate trained and potty trained and knows sit.  She takes a minute to warm up to new dogs but loves everyone she meets with a little time. She absolutely LOVES to cuddle. Great with kids too.
